Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation History

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation, a name synonymous with robust and reliable power tools, has a rich history that dates back to its founding in 1924. Known for their innovation in the power tool industry, Milwaukee has consistently pushed the boundaries of technology, delivering high-performance tools that cater to a wide range of professional needs. From the introduction of the first portable electric power tools to the development of the revolutionary M12 and M18 cordless systems, to the MX Fuel Equipment, Milwaukee’s journey is marked by a commitment to quality and innovation.

DeWalt, interestingly, was also established in 1924 by Raymond DeWalt, who was the inventor of the Radial Arm Saw.   DeWalt has been a formidable player in the power tool industry since then. With a reputation for durability and performance, DeWalt has been a go-to brand for professionals and DIY enthusiasts (like me).  Full disclosure, I’m a DeWalt loyalist, and have used their products for many years.  I’ve always marveled at how durable their products are.  I’ve dropped my 20V Max XR Drill so many times, I don’t know how it works at all.  But it does, just like new.

DeWalt has expanded its portfolio to include some of the best cordless drills and other power tools, characterized by their signature yellow and black color scheme. DeWalt’s focus on technology and user-centric design has made it a favorite in the construction and woodworking industries.
